To be eligible for our Master’s program, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, either obtained in Italy or from a recognized university worldwide.

As you prepare your application, keep in mind that our program seeks diverse, motivated, and forward-thinking individuals who are eager to make a positive impact in the field of science communication.

Our selection process is thorough and aims to identify candidates with a genuine passion for science communication. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews to further assess their suitability for the program.

Admission to the SCICOMM Master program involves a meticulous evaluation conducted by a committee comprising three members selected from the Master’s Consiglio Direttivo. The Admissions Committee meticulously reviews your application to determine your fulfillment of entry requirements, scrutinizing your academic record, scholarly activities, and the submitted statement of purpose.

The evaluation process allocates points based on the following criteria:

  • Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum (CV): Up to a maximum of 80 out of 100 points. To facilitate a standardized comparison, kindly utilize the Europass CV Template available for download.
  • Statement of Purpose: Up to a maximum of 20 out of 100 points. Download the provided template to structure your compelling statement.

To be deemed eligible, applicants must attain a minimum score of 50 out of 100 points. In the event of a tie in the ranking list, preference will be given to the youngest candidate.

The outcome of your application will be promptly published on the official website. Successful candidates can proceed to pay their fees following the publication of results. This transparent and merit-based selection process underscores our commitment to assembling a diverse cohort of students passionate about science communication.

The comprehensive course fees for enrollment in the SCICOMM Master program amount to €2916.00, inclusive of taxes. These fees apply uniformly to both domestic and international students, encompassing the entire year’s tuition.

To facilitate financial planning, the payment of tuition fees is divided into two installments.
Upon successful acceptance into the program following the selection procedure, an initial payment of €1466.00 is due by June. Subsequently, the second installment of €1450.00 is required by February in the following year.
Please note that all fees are non-refundable. This structured payment approach aims to accommodate students and ensure a manageable financial commitment throughout the duration of their academic journey in the SCICOMM Master program.
