Tailored specifically for students, it aims to equip them with the skills necessary to develop a visually compelling brand identity that reflects the venture’s mission, values, and personality, while also resonating with the target audience.

Programme:

  • Translating Research into Brand Messaging: Explore techniques for effectively communicating complex research findings and technical concepts to diverse audiences, including investors, partners, and the general public.
  • Defining the Brand Identity: Learn how to articulate the brand’s core values, mission, and personality to create a strong foundation for  brand identity.
  • Designing Visual Brand Elements: Understand the role of visual elements such as logos, color schemes, and typography in conveying brand’s message and personality.
  • Building Brand Consistency: Explore strategies for maintaining consistency across all brand touchpoints.

By blending interactive sessions, a self-paced learning website, case studies, and hands-on exercises, participants will acquire practical skills and actionable strategies for establishing and overseeing a strong brand presence within the the research and innovation sector, while complying with legal and ethical requirements.

Cristina Rigutto

Cristina brings a wealth of experience in marketing and communications, backed by an MSc in Economics and a Master’s in Science Communication. With over 30 years navigating various industries from engineering to the vibrant world of social media agencies, her expertise runs deep.
Since 2010, Cristina has been collaborating with universities and research centers worldwide. Her contributions extend beyond traditional roles, as she shares her expertise in soft skills, digital communication, and branding as a trainer.
As the coordinator of the SciComm Master program, Cristina has been instrumental in refining the international brand image of the Master in Communication of Science and Innovation at the University of Trento. Her subtle yet effective approach has helped the program carve a strong niche in the competitive landscape, both locally and globally. Her knack for shaping brand identities has significantly bolstered the program’s reputation.
